ReplyDeleteArthur McShane (Stage Name "Old Mother Riley") was appearing in pantomime and sadly, sadly died of a heart attack during one of the intervals. The House Manager came onstage at the restart to make the announcement that The Dame was dead . . . and a houseful of children chorused "Oh No she isn't . . "
