This shot, taken from The Year 2008 In Photographs, shows Masai warriors dressed in modern sportswear deploying with their bows and arrows on a hillside in Kenya.They are not doing this for historical re-enactment purposes. This is a live dispute over territory. Twenty people have been killed in the last few months.
