I'm amazed they actually allow themselves to say vagina on television without fear of invoking mass demonstrations outside the building.
The way she says "that's a word we don't say on television" - it sounds like she's on Sesame Street admonishing small children ("Today's show was brought to you by the letter C").
"We would do NOTHING to offend the audience"...unless, of course, you have a brain.
Some would say that the program itself offends the audience. I too noticed the "inadvertently" adverb. It wasn't a slip or something said in the heat of the moment. It appeared to me that she planned to say it. It sounded like a little joke she had planned.
Besides which, who cares? It's a word. If a word can tear down the fabric of decent society, then maybe the fabric is pretty weak to begin with.

Good to see that grown adults still wave at TV cameras. I thought we'd moved on from that.
