Juande without you

Within a few weeks he'll be as eggy and fallible as all the other Spurs managers, but for now Juande Ramos arrives with a reputation for being a hard guy. He certainly looks the part.
And he comes preceded by a fantastic anecdote. In one of his previous jobs in Spain his team were leading 2-0 but he wasn't happy with the effort they were putting in.
So he took a man off. Didn't replace him. Just took a man off.
If that's not true I don't wish to know.

Someone told me that story the other week, but I've no idea about its veracity.

However what I do know is that Spurs have had 7 managers since 1994. Ramos began his managerial career in 1994 and is now at his 10th club. An unstable club and an unstable manager. It hardly suggests a match made in heaven. I'll give him till May 2009.

Ref the point above, the thing is with any manager of Spurs is that if he is a success he'll leave and if he is a failure he'll leave.
