"I got ladies instead..."

The Rugby World Cup doesn't throw up as much internet japery as the football version so this invention of Irish independent station Today FM is particularly precious. For the uninitiated, it's supposed to be the Irish coach Eddie O'Sullivan following one of his side's underwhelming performances. And, yes, I know, nobody else in these islands has got anything to feel smug about.
Makes me laugh.

Ive just watched Scotland play New Zealand, with both sides wearing virtually the same kit.

    Piss up, brewery, etc.

  2. Mario Rosenstcok - th guy behind these sketches is a national treasure over here. He was the guy behind the 'Dry Your Eyes Becks' 'Leave Right Now (the Roy Keane and Man U song' and 'Jose and his amazing technicolour overcoat'. Murinho was so impressed with the skit that he invited him over to perform for the team.

He has had the number one album at Xmas every Xmas for the last few years.

    Great stuff.

Pity about the real team though!

  3. Is anybody still watching the Rugby World Cup? It's been going on 3 weeks now, we've had 28 games and you could count on the fingers of one hand how many have been competitive.
The Twenty20 which started after the rugby and finishes today was a much better tournament as almost every game could have gone either way and you didn't have to wait weeks between interesting games.
The tournament will only be a spectacle once they lose all the emerging nations and have fewer one-sided games.
